I wanted to post here: https://system.data.sqlite.org/index.html/tktview?name=8292431f51 but it doesn't seem possible. Is there any progress on that? A dotConnect alternative is full of bugs and quirks (and even charges the full version). A free alternative found on stackoverflow does not support the DataSet class. mistachkin added on 2017-07-03 17:31:23: The ticket you linked to is closed. I think that is why replies to it are not allowed by anonymous users. Meanwhile, per the current Community Support Policies, the design-time components for Visual Studio are no longer officially supported. Unfortunately, this means that support for Visual Studio 2017 will (most likely) not be added. I actually looked into what it would take to do it and came to the conclusion that it would be extremely difficult given the changes that Microsoft made to the Visual Studio installation and extensibility model in Visual Studio 2017. |
