Suddenly Appigo Sync began failing with this error message. By suddenly, I mean it ran great for a couple of years then Thursday it failed. "Appigo Sync failed to start with error: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Data.SQLite, Version=1.0.66.0, Culture neutral, PublicKeyToken=db937bc2d44ff139' or one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain assembly manifest." I reinstalled Appigo Sync twice. I rebooted several times I am running Win7 SP1. I have disabled my Bitdefender and Windows Firewall, no luck. I have no clue where to look for the solution. Please help, Thanks Jim Calvert Here is the Windows crash report: Version=1 EventType=APPCRASH EventTime=130460610494008401 ReportType=2 Consent=1 UploadTime=130460610495412404 ReportIdentifier=2754d471-e92f-11e3-8a1b-002215770a80 WOW64=1 Response.BucketId=279368968 Response.BucketTable=17 Response.type=4 Sig[0].Name=Application Name Sig[0].Value=Appigo Sync.exe Sig[1].Name=Application Version Sig[1].Value=2.3.0.15115 Sig[2].Name=Application Timestamp Sig[2].Value=51632510 Sig[3].Name=Fault Module Name Sig[3].Value=KERNELBASE.dll Sig[4].Name=Fault Module Version Sig[4].Value=6.1.7601.18409 Sig[5].Name=Fault Module Timestamp Sig[5].Value=53159a86 Sig[6].Name=Exception Code Sig[6].Value=e0434f4d Sig[7].Name=Exception Offset Sig[7].Value=0000c42d DynamicSig[1].Name=OS Version DynamicSig[1].Value=6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48 DynamicSig[2].Name=Locale ID DynamicSig[2].Value=1033 UI[2]=C:\Program Files (x86)\Appigo Sync\Appigo Sync.exe UI[3]=Appigo Sync has stopped working UI[4]=Windows can check online for a solution to the problem. Is it possible for you to try using the 1.0.92.0 release? mistachkin added on 2014-06-02 17:17:41: That being said, it appears that the System.Data.SQLite assembly may have been corrupted in some way. Have you run 'chkdsk' on the file system? Is the disk possibly failing? If those things appears to be OK, I would try re-downloading the 1.0.66.0 release and re-installing it. mistachkin added on 2014-06-02 17:24:30: The download link for the legacy 1.0.66.0 release is: [http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/sqlite-dotnet2/files/SQLite%20for%20ADO.NET%202.0/1.0.66.0/SQLite-1.0.66.0-setup.exe/download] mistachkin added on 2014-06-02 20:16:35: Also, I just noticed some "Bitdefender" DLLs loaded into the application process. In theory, an update to that could have caused the issue you are seeing. Either because your machine could have some actual malware on it -OR- there is a false positive somewhere in the process. |
