Having other Nuget packages for prerelease is not the standard way to do this, marking the version as 1.0.94.0-alpha is much better, and integrates with the VS Nuget tooling (you can choose to include prerelease packages, must put -Pre on package console commandline etc) see http://docs.nuget.org/docs/reference/versioning
