I use Windows 7 and Visual Studio 2015. I was working on a project (in C# / WPF ) using SQ-Lite and now I can't get SQ-Lite to run with VS 2015, specifically VS2015 doesnt recognize SQ-Lite as a data provider. I able to add a System.Data.SQLite-based connection via the Server Explorer Window. But later I can't add model with Sqlite pdata provider. (- Add New Item: ADO.NET Entity Data Model - Choose “Generate from Database” - Click "New connection” - Look for SQLite in the data source list (it isn’t there. only SQL Server items appear in the list)

Superseded by changes for Update 3. Possibly, more return codes need to be checked for in the MSVC runtime redist; however, they are not documented.
