Can I have the versions for Visual Studio 2012 AND Visual Studio 2015 both installed on the same computer? I have been using 2012 for many years but am gradually migrating projects to 2015. At this stage I have the Community edition of VS 2015 - there is a note somewhere that suggests I will need the Professional version in order to use System.Data.Sqlite at all - is this definitely the case? mistachkin added on 2016-10-24 04:10:28: (text/x-fossil-plain) Installing multiple versions of the design-time components for System.Data.SQLite is officially unsupported and untested. I do not know if it will work; however, I strong suspect it will not. I am also unsure if the design-time components for System.Data.SQLite will work with the "Community Edition" of Visual Studio. Given what I know about the SKU, I suspect it may work. |
