I have windows XP with visual studio 2010 only with the C# language.
At a first time, I install the following file:
sqlite-netFx40-setup-bundle-x86-2010-1.0.77.0.exe
I went to visual studio, I try to add a new connection but I have not available the sqlite provider.
then I uninstall the sqlite-netFx40-setup-bundle-x86-2010-1.0.77.0.exe and I install the following file:
sqlite-netFx40-setup-x86-2010-1.0.77.0.exe
I have the same problem, I have not available the provider in visual studio.
I try to install the netfx35 of both versions, bundle and the other one, but the problem continue.
However, if I install the legacy versiĆ³n, the SQLite-1.0.66.0-setup.exe, then I have available the provider and can create a new version and create the Entity model. However, with this version I have problems with the mixed-assembly so I would like to install the new version, the 1.0.77.0.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks.
Daimroc.

No, you aren't doing anything wrong. The Visual Studio design-time components are not yet installed by the setup. The installer tool for them is being re-written to support Visual Studio 2010 and to be more robust. The plan is for it to be included in the next release, due out sometime in January.
