Hello developers!

The company I work for is currently using SQLite in our production software API. Currently our projects target .NET Framework 4.6.1 but we are updating and migrating our code and development environments to use Visual Studios 2019 and target the .NET Framework 4.8. I see there are some preliminary check-ins in code for supporting .NET Framework 4.8 and MSBuild 16.0. Is there an estimated timeline for deploying "precompiled statically-linked binaries for windows 32 and 64 .NET Framework 4.8"?

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Thanks for the report.

Technically, any System.Data.SQLite assembly targeting the .NET Framework 4.x
will work in a project targeting the .NET Framework 4.8.

That being said, the current plan is to add a set of precompiled binaries with
a target framework set to the .NET Framework 4.8 for the upcoming 1.0.113.0
release, which is (now) due out in April.

I have been following the status of this ticket for three months. The plan when this ticket was submitted back in March was to include precompiled binaries that would target .NET Framework 4.8 in the April release 1.0.113.0. That release finally dropped on June 1st, 2020 but I did not see this feature set included in that release. This ticket is still in "pending" status with a "Pending_Fix" resolution. Can you please describe the work being done on this task and give another estimate for date of completion?

Support for the .NET Framework 4.8 and Visual Studio 2019 is now being targeted at the 1.0.114.0 release.
